Each year, approximately 780,000 children in the United States are caught up in the court and child welfare maze because they are unable to live safely at home. Imagine what it would be like to lose your parents, not because they can't - or won't - take care of you. Now, into these children's lives come dozens of strangers: police, foster parents, therapists, social workers, judges, lawyers and more. Hopefully, one of these strangers is a CASA - Court Appointed Special Advocate - volunteer.

Interested in becoming a CASA volunteer?
Our next training session will be held Tuesdays from 5:30 - 9 PM beginning April 17 - ending May 22 in La Porte, IN. A short 6-week class is what it takes to become a CASA volunteer. You don't need a degree. You don't need prior experience. You simply need to be committed and care. Make a difference in children's lives in our community.
