Andrew Bridge - author of Hope's Boy - his memoir is the true account of his life with his mentally ill mother and her efforts to keep and care for him, and of his life for 11 years in the Los Angeles County foster care system.

Andrew went on to earn a scholarship to Wesleyan, become a Fulbright Scholar, and graduated from Harvard Law School.
